I need help please !

I am looking for details about an ancestor called Mary Agnes Joanna Archer nee Hackett who married Samuel Francis Archer in Barbados.I'm pretty sure that they were both born in brbados and their families had probably been in Barbados for several genrations possibly as plantation workers. I am fairly sure that Samuel was black but think that Mary could have been of Scottish origin or possibly mixed race but probably black too.....I know they were married in 1871 in St Peter's Barbados. They had about four girls but I don't think any boys. One of their daughters ( my relative) was Elise Miriam de Lacey Archer who died in a house fire in 1920 in St Peter's Barbados. Elise third and last child Ernest Godfrey Archer was only three months old at that time It was reported in the local paper in Barbados., Her other sons were Newellon and Odrick, Elise was not married to the father of her children but Cecil/ Cyril Archer was from Guyana and confirmed these details for us in the 1970's as he was in touch with his son Godfrey throughout his lifetime.

My search really however is for Mary ( and Samuel) and hopefully her parents.

Thank you everyone

Family Search: Barbados Baptisms 1739-1891----Philip Henry Archer bp 29 Mar 1877 son of Samuel Francis Archer and Mary Agnes Johannes Hackett.  You mention Mary and Samuel m 1871.  They m 16 Nov 1871 at St Peters in case you didn't have the date.  I found nothing else on these two.

Karen I am from Guyana, and I happen to be an "Archer."   My family members and I are currently on a mission to find our "Archer" relatives from Barbados also.  My great grandfather who was a Guyanese native was named Samuel Archer, but we suspect that either his father or grandfather was one of three "Archer" brothers who migrated to Guyana from Barbados in the late 1800's.  They were initially from Ghana in Africa.  We made that discovery via researching the origin of all the "Archers" in Barbados.  Each settled in one of our three counties which are Essequibo, Berbice, and Demerara and started families.  We were also told that all the "Archers" in Guyana are decendants of those three brothers. With that said, I would love to query any information you received from the aforementioned individual (Cecil/Cyril Archer) to establish any possible family relations and to have some of our questions possibly answered. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you much:)
