I got a similar message from Ancestry.com regarding access to all of their U.S. military collections. The offer I received might be limited to Ancestry U.S. subscribers. It ends with:

"Access to records in the featured collections will be free on Ancestry until May 29, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. ET. After the free access period ends, you will only be able to view the records in the featured collections using a World Explorer or All Access membership. To see a full list of the records in the featured collections, please click here."

Ellen I am an Ancestry World Explorer and I followed the links but Fold3 said that I had to be a member to read the information. But when I followed your link, it worked. Thank you but I still cannot see the documents which would really be nice. It says that I have to be a member of Fold3 to view. I guess it is better than nothing,
