I had my DNA test done through Heritage.com, is the process the same as with Ancestry or any other companies?

I don't know how to upload it to my computer or how to use Gedmatch to do all these things. DNA is really new to me.

If you will change the privacy level on your profile from 'private' to 'private with public biography and family tree' people who aren't on your trusted list will be able to see the information you've entered on WikiTree about your DNA test. If you want to search for people who match you on GEDmatch, go to GEDmatch.com and follow their instructions for uploading your DNA test. Once you have a GEDmatch ID, enter that on your WikiTree profile. Here's a link to get you started using DNA test information on WikiTree: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/How_to_Dig_a_Little_Deeper#Put_Your_DNA_Test_to_Work

Okay, thank you. I did change the privacy level to private with public biography.

I haven't really entered any DNA test information, I just simply clicked the button saying ADD MY TEST.

I tried to figure out how to download my DNA test results to my computer so that I could upload them to WikiTree, but gave up after a few minutes. I will try to work more on it tomorrow.

Not many sites talk about DNA from MyHeritage.com, apparently that company is somewhat new in providing DNA testing.

I will check out the link you've included.   Thank you very much.
You don't need to download anything to your computer for WikiTree. On your WikiTree profile you only enter the information that you took a DNA test. For GEDmatch you will need to download DNA test results to your computer and then upload it to GEDmatch, but GEDmatch instructions will tell you how to do that.
Thank you so much for your help, it can all get so confusing at times.
