Is it possible to get a copy of my grandmotehr's diploma or graduation record?

+5 votes

Does anyone know how I can get a copy of my grandmother's graduation record or diploma? She attended and graduated from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA. She graduated in 1910 with highest honors. I have found some things online but would love to have a copy of her diploma or some kind of record of her graduation. If this is possible.

Should I call the school or send them an email?

If anyone has any ideas or advice, please let me know. Many thanks!

Write to the Registrar's Office at the University and request a copy f the transcript.  Their web site will tell you the cost.  Explain that you are a direct descendant and why you want the transcript.  Transcripts can be released to heirs, but diplomas are usually only issued to the student.
