I received an email from someone who was not logged in to WikiTree. I want to reply, but not sure how.

Did they give you their surname in the email? You could use that to search for their profile
Yes, but there is no profile match that is obvious.
Looks like you've done everything you can do realistically, maybe they'll see your question and get in contact with you again
If they sent the mail from a profile you manage and they had a question about you could perhaps post some more information in a comment on the profile?
I have 8 email addresses.  If I didn't want to respond to someone so they'd know my email address, I'd use an address that was fairly anonymous and if they spammed me, I'd block them.  But realistically, I've responded to dozens of these sorts of emails with my main email address, and it's always worked out fine, so I personally go for it and just email them.
Thanks. I had just come to that conclusion myself when i saw your reply. I will see if they respond again to see if the information i have found out matches what they know.
Maybe you could create a special email for wikitree. This way you don't have to worry about email going to your personal one.

The private messages I receive are all sent from a generic wikitree address, but the reply-to address in the email is the email address of the person who sent the private message. To reply, just hit "reply."

And if you don't want to use your real email address, follow J. Crook's advice about using an alternative email address. Once you hit "reply" on the original message, you should be able to see the person's email address and you can paste it into a different email, if you prefer.

Hi John, if you go to their profile page you can either send them a private message or leave a public message on their wall. :-)
