Did not find his parents, John R. Reams died in Fayette Co., Iowa.

I have all John Ream info I need info on who comes after. We are unsure

We do think he was married to Judith Evans first. Secondly to our Susan Stone. Some family member think he was born around 1825-1830 but Susan Stone was born in 1835. John Reams was born in Canton, Stark County, Ohio. The census have his birthday all over the board. I have been going by the family bible and headstone. There are two other John Reams buried in Iowa cemeteries 1825-1900 and 1836-1894. There are 10 John Ream buried in Iowa.

The John R. Reams in the Alpha Cemetery was born on the exact same day as in the posted question, February 13, 1816 and in Canton, Stark County, Ohio. He also died on the same year posted in the question.

and that's who I have as his parents George and Margaret Reams. Rumor has it they were cousins.

I believe this may be him w/parents in 1850.  The birth year is way off.  But his birth year is off by about 10-15 yrs. in all of his records.  If it is in deed him, either his gravestone is wrong or all of his other records are wrong.

If you search for him with a later birth year (1824-1831), you should find all of his census records.  He moved around a bit.  And it appears he was married to a Judy Evans before Susan and has older children.

I will post his 1850 and 1870 census records.
