Is there a place on my home page for inner-Wiki messages?

I sent a message to another Wiki member and can't find where it is or, more importantly, where he's answered it if at all. Thanks for your help.

Hi Charlynn,

I think you're asking about tracking of your Private Messages. This is something that others have asked about too.

Unfortunately, there is no tracking or recording of what's sent. The Private Message form just generates a message. We don't save a copy.

Someone else suggested having a copy e-mailed to you. This should be feasible. Would you want that? I hesitate to have thousands of additional e-mail messages being sent from WikiTree (it makes us look like spammers, costs money, and has other problems associated with it, not least of which is the crowding of your inbox) but it might be worth it.

maybe you could offer the option to have a copy sent (like the one in G2G about receiving e-mails if a comment is added), but have the default be unchecked?

I try to copy what I've written before I hit send, and then paste it in an e-mail to myself with the subject line of the profile/reason (e.g., Noland-170/request).  Not as sleek as a checkbox option, but it's a decent workaround (when I remember).
I WANT THIS! I figured a WikiTree message center would be too much to ask but some way to track what was sent to who and when... even if by email copy, would be GREAT!
Some kind of tracking system would be great. Thanks.

Chris - Thank you!  I just received a copy of a private message I sent.  And it was one I'd forgotten to copy before sending.  Thank you for making that change!

(made this as an answer, not a comment, as the new feature answers the problem asked about)

Cheers,
