I have been researching my Roark/O'Rourke lineage on my Dad's Mother's side and need some help in verifying that Timothy O'Rourke was in fact the son of a Franciscan Bishop named Thaddeus Timothy O'rourke. He was Bishop of Killala but I know Franciscan Bishops are celibate but I also know that the was not appointed until he was 57 so he could have very well already been married which was allowed. Anything that any one can provide would be greatly appreciated.
