Connecting Medal of Honor awardee to Global Tree

Question

Medal of Honor and Notable "MSG Gary Ivan Gordon" (Gordon-7536) was created earlier in the year but there must of been a roadblock in adding his family members. Only his father was added. The profile was on the "orphaned profile list" so I took management of it because of his military connections. He is also on Wikipedia!

But now I find out he is on the "Database Errors" list, Error #568 Wikidata - Unconnected branches to "global tree". . Could someone, (maybe from the "Gordon" surname family, or our connectors project) help us get him connected to the WikiTree Globel tree please. Thanks in advance.

I took a look and possibly they didn't add the mother because she isn't connected on FAG. She is mentioned in the census posted on the father's page - or at least the wife is. We can probably find more info on FamilySearch.

Thanks Paula! I added a profile on WikiTree for Betty M (Bonney) Gordon wife of Duane Gordon (connecting them to Gary). Apparently they got married one month before Gary was born.

Update:  with the help of Sandra Davidson and Francis Sibley we got as far as George Harrison Gordon (Gordon-8239) Born 14 Nov 1883.  However seems far from being connected. 

Still hoping for someone with a "Gordon" surname interest or connection maybe,  to help contribute some more ancestors.

Gary Gordon should be connected now. Have connected him to Alford Gordon (Gordon-5911) who is connected. I have done some sources for Alford Gordon. Have not checked the sources beyond him.
