Asa Merrill is buried in the Udina, IL, are Asa and Phebe related?

In a Merrill genealogy at our local library there is mention of an Asa Merrill living in Udina, Illinois which in just west of Elgin , iL in Kane Co. IL. He is buried in the Udina Cemetery along with numerous other members of his family including a son Asa Merrill. I am trying to determine his relationship to my great great grandmother, Phebe Merrill.who married my great great grandfather, Edward Burnidge and also to try and determine her relationship to the larger Merrill family. Other ancestry of the Merrill family is related to my family. My great grandfather's half brother, Edward married Phebe Jane Hall whose mother was a Merrill. Can these ancestors be related to the Asa Merrill in your ancestry?

If Phebe Merrill is not entered into your family tree at WikiTree, as far as I can see, she does not yet have a number assigned like Asa Merrill does. If you enter the genealogy back to your great great grandmother so she can be assigned a number, you could run her number Merrill-xxxx with Asa's in the Relationship Finder to see if they are connected and if so, specifically how they are connected.
