The first obvious question is, what makes you think you are related?
my father has papers im not sure what you call them but you get it from the uk we searched for barlow and its history,
OK, it's not too difficult to follow Wordsworth down, but there are lots of branches. It would be easier to work your own way back from your father.

Can you find out exactly what UK documents your father has?

IF there is a wikitree connection before you and anyone, you can go to the profile of interest and click on Relationship, a link appearing below the major tabs (Profile, Edit, Photos...), which are themselves below the profile name.

If no connection is found, it will tell you that. But that only means that following your ancestors and their sibling and descendant links doesn't connect with the profile of interest. E.g., if one of your ancestors is a duplicate with another profile that connects to William Wordsworth, that connection will not be found. That's one of reasons wikitree strives for "one profile per person!"
