Joseph Everett was at Heytesbury and subsequently Sutton Veny, Wiltshire, England from the end of the 18th century until the middle of 19th century. I have tracked down quite a bit about his descendants, but know very little about him or his ancestry. I have found one reference where he is called John Everett, but that may be a mistake. I have also found a reference to him taking on Joseph Everett as an adopted name. So far as I know, he had connections with cloth making and also, possibly banking through Everett, Ravenhill & Co. (est. 1777) of Warminster.
I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has knowledge of him or his family, or of Everetts that may be connected. Most of the records I have found about the descendants are before 1909 (Crisp's England & Wales).
