Does descent or marriage or both define WikiTree's Global Family Tree?

Lets say I'm adopted and don't know who my bio parents are.  In WikiTree I'm connected to my spouse who traces their ancestry back to Charlemagne.  Would I be counted in the number WikiTree uses for the size of its Global Family Tree?

Hi Peter,

Both. Our Connection Finder includes relationships by marriage (whereas the Relationship Finder only considers descent).

Whether or not you're adopted does not matter, if you've attached your parents. That is, whether or not you mark your parents as "non-biological" is not relevant in the Connection Finder.
