Illegimate child Lord Dunbar and a lady in waiting to Queen Mary?

also Clan Mackay

down to Hicks of Virginia, then to Mississippi, then to Texas (Floyd Dunbar Hicks, my maternal grandfather, who died in 1968)

do you have any information about the connections among Dunbar, Mackay and Hicks?

Queen Mary had four ladies in waiting (commonly known as the Queen's four Marys)

They were Mary Fleming, Mary Livingston, Mary Beaton and Mary Seton.

Unfortunately I do not have any more inormation regarding any illegitimate children of Lord Dunbar and any of the four Marys, but I hope this little information may help you.
