Henri I and Anna Iaroslavna's children [closed]

Wikitree currently gives 8 children to Henri I Capet and his wife Anna Iaroslavna. However according to easy-to-reach sources - not necessarily the best, but at least they all agree, they had only four: Philippe, Emma, Robert and Hugues. That's four too many. (There was actually a ninth child a few months ago, but this one was successfully identified to Thomas de Marle and removed from this family).

1. Pavie de Vexin - I posted a message suggesting she might be Pavia, another rather mysterious lady who was married to Eudes de Vermandois. Why? Other children who do not fit in the family appear to match Vermandois family members... and there are not lots of Pavias.

2. Alix de Valois - she kind of nicely matches Adele de Vexin and I have already proposed a merge - that was probably a bit premature, it has not been rejected yet, surprisingly.

3. Raoul - no idea. The profile gives Macon as a birth place, but I can't find any Burgundian Raoul or Rodolphe in that time frame. There is another clue on the Changes tab: he was once merged with a "Ct de Vermandois". Who could he be?

4. Louis - actually Louis IV, LNAB Capet. This could possibly be his nephew, Louis (VI, actually).

Any thoughts? I have been wanting to sort out this family for some time. Messages have been posted on the profiles, about three weeks ago, so far only one reaction from a profile manager who had adopted the profile and is not sure what to do about it either.

I would welcome any ideas and advice on how to move forward with this issue. Thank you !

Raoul could be Henri and Anna's grandson, Raoul he was Comte de Vermandois.

I'm still investigating but I also think Emma, might be at best uncertain.  I think there is only one source that names her, all the rest only mention the 3 sons.

Thanks! Raoul could well be a grandson connected as a son like Louis.

Good luck.

Thanks James. This confirms that there are only 3 sons, one of them dying young: there is enough evidence to conclude that there were no more sons and allow us to disconnect the others.
