I am looking for anything on Andrew White born in 1823 in Queens, New Brunswick, Canada.  His parents are Phillip and Catherine (Lawson) White.  He did live and died  in Michigan.  Andrew married Margaret Elizabeth Bovaird in 1856.  I have his death certificate but it doesn't mention his parents.  I need some kind of document connecting him to his father.  Help!!  If not where can I look.  I have checked Canada with no results.  Its as if he just disappeard, but he did have many children.

Have you tracked down the marriage record? That early it's most likely to be in a church register. Sometimes these records name the parents of each of the bride and groom.

What records in Canada have you checked? Land petitions? Wills, probate? Where did Philip and Catherine die? What about tax rolls? Township histories? Do you have Andrew White's death registration? Does it name his parents? Have you researched Andrew's siblings?

I have written a guide for Legacy Family Tree about New Brunswick genealogy resources. Here's the link: http://www.legacyfamilytreestore.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=QDNEWBRUNS

Happy researching.

The will  of Samuel White, who died in 1870 in Queens County, New Brunswick, mentions Andrew as his (Samuel's) brother Philip White's son.  Do you have a reference for Andrew's "death certificate"?  He was my great-grandfather.
