Need help finding an elusive child?

So, I am doing a cemetery project for a cemetery near where I attend college, trying to add all of the members of the cemetery to this site. I also do their genealogy (to a few generations up and down so that I can link them all up) and there is a prominent family there -- the Allens. George Washington Allen's son, Clifton aka Allen-26797, married Rose May Kennedy aka Kennedy-11274 (also seen as "Rose Mary"). She later filed for divorce (it never went through because she passed away). They had one child according to this record. However, for the life of me, I cannot find the kid's name or even gender because Clifton and Rose are always living in separate places in the censuses. (1900 they were not married, in 1910 she filed for divorce and they separated, she died in 1914). The child is not listed with either parent. I can't find even a birth record for the kid, just this one divorce record. (I have attached it to their profiles).

Did the kid even exist? How did they just disappear like that?

I couldn't find a child, but I did find this record where her husband's name was written as Clifford instead of Clifton. The marriage date is correct, though.

"Indiana Marriages, 1780-1992," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XFNM-696 : 3 December 2014), Clifford J. Allen and Rose M. Kennedy, 14 Sep 1901; citing reference pg 60 rn 39a; FHL microfilm 413,542.

It is definitely "Clifton" -- see grave photo via Find a Grave: https://findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=allen&GSfn=clif&GSbyrel=all&GSdyrel=all&GSst=21&GScntry=4&GSob=n&GRid=112863648&df=all& I have seen the Clifford misspelling though, and I've seen that marriage record before (through Ancestry). I just have no idea where the child would be :(
I tried both spellings and didn't find a child using either. I hope that elusive child turns up eventually! Sorry I couldn't be more help.
Thank you for trying at any rate!! It is so frustrating that I can't find the kid. :( I don't even know the gender!
