Error Report on Every Dutch Roots Template

Question

I just looked at my Errors Report.  I believe it now includes every profile I manage that has a Dutch Roots template on it.  Apparently it's the template or something recorded on it that is being considered an error.  Is anyone else having the same problem?

Other thread on this error has Aleš's answer:

 849 lists template usage with parameter, but templatte is not using that parameter.

It is still under development, and shouldn't be published yet. But due to error in FAG report i had to republish the errors and 849 slipped through.

Not sure though what Aleš is developing. Do you know of a parameter you can give to Dutch Roots but is not used (no effect) in the template? I don't have access to the template source, so I can't check...

Perhaps it's because we have some parameters in our template that are not activated /used yet ? Like gemeente etc.they are added to our template but not activated or used..

I guess we then have a problem. When I use the template I always specify gemeente. Maybe ask Rob Ton to come to our rescue?

Everyone is free to add everything to the Template so to fill in all 'fields' or just the year of Birth and Province for example, it's just that these parameters (for the places as well) are not activated/switched on yet, because if we would activate them all, we also would have to create thousands of categories for all  places, gemeentes etc,. I think we can just ignore the error, and say it's a false error, but I'll ask Aleš for help. I think our template is the only template at WikiTree with all these different parameters.

Bertram,

Yes, looks like all profiles with the Dutch Roots template get error 849, an as yet undocumented error code. I suggest you add the tag data_doctors to this question, to get Aleš's attention.

I just now posted a message on the Google group on this subject.
