Was [Little-8657 Andrew Little (1815-1888)] son of [Little-8762 James Little(1779-?)], Canonbie?

I am sourcing an unsourced pedigree, with known mistakes, from Family Tree DNA, with very close DNA matching to other lines. Most is now well sourced and is sensible, but unable to find evidence of this one link.

Online have exhausted FindMyPast, ScotlandsPeople and offline MIs of Canonbie.

Please bear in mind that there were lots of Alexanders, Davids, Georges, James, Thomas and Wiliams at this time and place.

may not be reliable, but---I show son of james 1785-1860 and mary (linton)  1785-1858. wife janet (childs) 1826-1918.  7 siblings , 7 children. both james and Andrew died in Canada?

Bit of a mismatch, as I have Andrew dying in Hawick. James dying in Canada is possible.
