Is it possible to tweak the thank-you interface? [closed]

Question

The current Thank you page be changed to show when someone had already been thanked by me? Since the new interface, that does not show anymore. It only states: Thank-You Received

Also - if someone has been thanked as a Wonderful WikiTreer before, could there be made mention of and / or that option not appear, unless poor Eowyn will have to spend whole days copy / pasting templates unto homepages of WikiTreers? (I do not recall any G2G feed on this topic - did I miss it?) Also (slighty beside the point) I am of the opinion that there should be conditions set for one to be able to use that feature [amount of WikiTree mileage] and perhaps to receive [amount of WikiTree milieage], and also as with other badges a daily limit.

Mainly, I find it very cluttered - too much happening now. My eyes don't know where to focus on what topic ... could the interface be more KISS?

Interesting how all the other remarks get more upvotes than my question regarding the readibility of the thank-you page. While I clearly stated that it is not saying thank you that I have an issue with, it is the design.

I know you've closed the question, but either the interface was tweaked or I just now realized how to tell:

If you thank someone & the text on the page that opens starts with "Thank you for thanking [whoever it was]", then that's the first time you thanked the person for that action. If it just says your thank you has been recorded, it means "already" but it doesn't say that anymore & the visual layout is not noticeably different, like it used to be (I use the already thanked feature to tell when I've last been active in interacting with someone through "thank yous" & was annoyed when it appeared that I was getting to the exact same page whether it was the first time or the 20th that I'd clicked that link [my eyesight is not good enough to easily distinguish the clicked on/not clicked on colors]).

Anyway... now I just need to glance for that bold "you" at the start of the text & I know it's the first time if it's there (and a repeat if it's not).

Only in Wikitree can one suffer from gratitude overload.

I do not see gratitude overload - to say thank you is basic and important. I see overload of information. And not thought through design and policy.

I don't see anything wrong with the 'thank you' page.  I just LOVE saying 'thank you'.  That is one of the best things about WikiTree, IMHO - and I haven't found it anywhere else.  The first thing I do when I get on WT is check my Nav Home Page and thankyouthankyouthankyou. :)
