Losing connection

Does anyone know why I have to keep signing in when I look at another site then return? Is it in my settings? Thanks in advance.

On Safari and some others, if you are set on "private" web browsing it will keep logging you out.  More accurately, each page opened requires you to log back in.  Switching to regular browsing instead of private solves the issue.   Cheers!
Thanks, anything is a possibility.

It sounds as though it might be your browser settings.  What browser are you using?

I am using IE 11.  This is the only site that I am aware of that I am having problems with but it makes it difficult to do research or to add information when I am  not signed in. The only thing I can think of is my settings conflicting with WT. Thanks for your help.
I tried a search for this problem in Google just in case it was common, and it seems to be a long standing problem that people have had with IE.  The problem is that there was no single solution.  People mentioned everything from cookie settings to anti-virus software to clearing the cache.  So I'm going to make the radical suggestion that you try a different browser, such as Firefox or Chrome.  If you don't have a preference between the two, then I'd make a case for using Chrome because of the Wikitree-X tool that lets you easily add information to profiles and create new profiles.  But if you prefer Firefox, go for it.  If the problem persists in your new browser, then we can say, well, it's not the browser--maybe it is your computer antivirus settings.  If the problem goes away, then I'd chalk it up to an IE quirk.  Also, although I've done lots of troubleshooting over the years and managed multiple computer labs, there's bound to be someone who knows more than I do who will most likely log in and see this question and know the perfect solution.  But for now, I would start with a different browser.  Let us know how it goes.
Thanks for all the info.

I use Firefox without this issue on WT but Familysearch was asking me to log in several times an hour, which was a frustration, so I got Dashlane, a utility and set it to sign in for me automatically as necessary on that site. You make a strong master password for the utility and it will tell you if your passwords are weak and offer to generate a new one, should you want to, or you can make your own.
