How do I change a profile of a person who exists as a wife, to a husband? [closed]

New sources indicate that Sarah Hickman was a widow when she married [[Maltby-1291|Lawrence Maltby]].  I assume her first husband's name was Lou Steele.  The problem is that her profile is under the name of Lou Steele
and she is the wife of Unknown Steele.  Her maiden name was Sarah Hickman, daughter of Stephen Hickman and Mary Ray.  How do I build her a new profile under the correct name and still keep a profile for a man  (that I could find no information to ascertain if it his correct name) or should he just disappear?
WikiTree profile: Sarah Maltby

Many thanks for the answers.  I wanted to change her into a husband but it was much simpler to change her names, not a gender, with that name which proved to be wrong anyway.   Based on the new information I was able to find information for Unknown, now George H, with his marriage information and a FAG for him.

If you know for sure that Mrs Lou Steele is Sarah Hickman, you should be able to adopt the profile and edited her information to include her real name Sarah Hickman instead of Mrs. Lou Steele which is how the import brought the information in. You can also change the profile from Male to Female.  This shouldn't remove anything from her profile.

As Susan says, your first step is to adopt the profiles -- you should adopt all three of them (Mrs Lou Steele, her husband Unknown Steele, and Lawrence Maltby).

Since the Lou Steele profile was created for "Mrs Lou" Steele, a woman, it makes sense to changer her first name to Sarah and correct her LNAB to Hickman. Once you've done that, everything else should be pretty straightforward.
