Can someone take a look at this Civil War record and interpret it for me?

The Invalid term implies to me that he was wounded during the war. Looks like the other person, Louis (did not discern the first letter of his last name) was a Captain out of Ohio. Maybe someone else at WikiTree can help clarify that part of the record.

My g grandfather and gg grandfather Hemenway also served in the Civil War out of Illinois, but they were from Rock Island County, IL.

It appears to me that he was an invalid: definition is person made weak or disabled by illness or injury. It is often used as a verb meaning to remove someone fro active service  - hence "invalided out" of service.

Not an authority on this - but it is my guess that this is what the record is saying
