Yes they can...... and finding them is a treasure!!! There are of course many wills and other notarial document but still not online......... I saw only the archive of Amsterdam has kilometers of documents to transcripe. But it is just soooooo wonderful if you can find one of your family or a profile you re working on - that is digital.
