The Pellyne One Name Study is expanding its horizons!

When the Pellyne Name Study began a year ago, it concentrated on the town of Lanreath, Cornwall, England, and was an exercise in reconstructing Pellyne family groups (and all their various spellings!)

But the name seems to be dying out in Lanreath and is spreading throughout Cornwall - and so the Pellyne Name Study is reacting to that and is now reconstructing even more family groups, but county-wide.

Do you have a Pellyne among the profiles you manage? Would you like to collaborate?

The Peline spelling seems to be primarily in Devon.

The Polline spelling is more concentrated in Middlesex.

Thanks, Frank.  I'll certainly keep those counties in mind, when I get bored of Cornwall and how the Cornish people spelled that particular surname any way they darned well pleased... LOL
