Problem with a profile. Likely a unicode char?

I cannot get to the profile Helström-1. Likely the unicode umlaut is messing this up. A little help please?

I get "We're sorry. The page you were looking for was moved or deleted, or there is a typo in the URL." when looking for Helström-1. Where did you find the profile and could you copy and paste that exactly as it appears?

Yes. That's the issue. The umlaut appeared when using another genealogy site and didn't fix that before doing the gedcom import. Stupid me.

 

Herbert was my uncle. His father, Fritz Helstrom is the profile needing fixed.

Maybe someone needs to delete the profile in the database and I create a correct profile?

It looks to me like you used "o plus Unicode Character 'COMBINING DIAERESIS' (U+0308)" instead of "ö" but I cannot replicate it to let me in.

Thanks for reporting this. We introduced some changes recently to try to improve matching with names like this. There were unintended consequences that we're still trying to work out. This will help. We'll get it fixed ASAP.

This particular problem should now be fixed. Thanks for your patience on it.

(Your GEDCOM happened to be imported while we were in the middle of changes and was caught in a bug. To solve it I created a new profile https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Helstr%C3%B6m-57 and merged the data from Helström-1 into it.)
