FATHER OF JOHN born 1750 was JOHN POSTON born 1719.

John Poston was born before 1719 in Chester County, Pennsylvania. His parents were John Poston and Martha. He married Margaret Baldridge, daughter of William Baldridge and Janet Holmes. They had two known sons, John and Anthony Andrew. He died in about 1773 in South Carolina. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in South Carolina.

John Poston the third married Rebecca Baldridge.

OK I'm sorry I looked and didn't see it, after asking again I see now. This was a lot of great help my Relationship is 8th great grandparents but I bet my DNA what show up, thanks I hope I can find some birth and death dates to work with, Thank you Eddie King!!

Private John Poston (1760-1819) served North Carolina under Captain John Work and Captain Davidson.  He married Rebecca Baldridge.

His service to his country is recognized by the Daughters of the American Revolution.  Click here:
