Why can I not complete the match for Bill-127 [closed]

+3 votes
Last September I proposed a merge for Bill-127 and Bill-302. This appeared to have stalled, I thought perhaps because of the privacy level (green) that had been set for Bill-127

I got that removed yesterday but when I try and complete the merge now it just tells me that they are already connected in a proposed merge.

A little frustrating when it's the proposed merge that I'm trying to complete.

I was interested in this question and wanted to look at the profile, then realized I have no idea how to find a person using Bill-127!

I went through all the menus trying to see where I might enter that as a search term.

I finally decided to try finding a connection, but this profile does not seem to be connected to Kevin Bacon, so that didn't work either.

I have not been able to search the pending merges very successfully either.

I finally realized that the link at the bottom of the post went to the profile, then I could not figure out how to locate the second profile. I finally found it by "compare".

I am baffled why this can't be merged. I thought maybe it was not open, so it had to wait for one of the profile managers, but both profiles seem to be open.

Bill-127 is Jerusha Kinsman nee Bill. There is a link to her profile at the bottom of my original post.

Thanks for looking.
Having just followed my own link I can see that the merge has now been completed by [[B-404 |Anne B]].

Thanks Anne

I don't understand why the profile didn't go into a 30 day default, but since they were clearly dups, I temporarily adopted the unapproved one, approved the merge and it went through just fine.
