Hello Katie, I am David H Rhoades, manager of Rhoades-757. My mother was Alberta Lucille Smead who died several years ago as Alberta Cobb (her third marriage was to Leon Cobb. Ruth Smead is in my mother's genealogy. I'm writing to say thanks for updating her information. There is an on-line book written by Edwin Billings Smead, titled Our Footprints And Footprints of Our Fathers: A Smead Genealogy, published in Greenfield, Ma in 1928. On page 19 it shows she married Edward Martindale of Westfield, Ma on May 4, 1721. they had one child, Lemuel, born Oct 20, 1730 and married Mar 25, 1765. Digitized by Google, Univ of Wisconsin.
