ive been listing it as a source, but i just thought it might be nice to add a picture of it too, if that would be cool. im talking about a picture of the cover. with a title and who its by. also thought about doin a picture of the info page with publishing information printed on it. wondered if that would be okay too.

thought about doing it as a project, or catagory, or somehow someway linking all the people that are together in this book. not all the last names are woods obviously, they married into other families and had kids that married into other families and so on. hmm. maybe a project. would that be cool? hmm.

Set up a free-space source page and link it to the profiles. Checkout if there are any copyright issues before adding info on that page. Should be okay to put the info from title page and any known restrictions due to copyright. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:Source

I think you'll find cover photos of books are generally OK, as they are something that all kinds of sites use to advertise their book. I don't think the cover would be an issue. Plus it helps others find the book, which promotes it online and such.

Once you get into the interior, it gets a bit more tricky, as there are boatloads of copyright laws that have to be navigated that vary country by country and fair use laws that allow just enough but not too much.

Was the book published in the US before 1923? If so, it's out of copyright, in the public domain. Anything after that and you're working with other restrictions. There's a fairly clear chart here for US copyright law:

Copyright Term and the Public Domain in the United States

Be certain of the date & publication if you post more than the cover & title pages.
