I posed this research Question a few years back. I am looking for info on my Ennis and McAdory sides of the family. I have a few tid bits that I have found and have been verified by my grandmother. This is her mom's side of the family. Her is what I know. James Ennis (Ennis-757) b. Abt. 1836 was married to Louise or also seen as Louisa possibly maiden name McAdory (McAdory- 8) b. Abt. 1840 d. 11/06/1911 in Lincoln County, MS, said to have been married to a Richardson prior to marriage to James. She had 2 Children with the Richardson man. Irene Richardson (Richardson-13049) b. Bef. 1872 and Mettie Richardson (Richardson- 13050) b. Bef.1872. With James she had at least 4 more children. George Ennis (Ennis-758) b. Abt.1872 d. 09/19/1930, William T. Ennis (Ennis-759) b. 08/04/1872 d. 04/12/1926, John Ennis (Ennis-760) b. Abt. 1873, and my great grandmother Josephine Mary "Josie" Ennis Dyess (Ennis-230) b.06/28/1878 around Mobile, Alabama d. 12/09/1945 in LincolnCounty, Mississippi married to James Prentiss Dyess (Dyess-32). I am trying to find out more about Josie's brothers and sisters as well as parents. I have seen a few census records. None listing the Richardson girls or leading me to going further back into the Ennis or McAdory lines. Does anyone have any answers to help me?
