Exporting Gedcoms (Surname Export)

Question

I am wondering if there is a way I can get a surname export of a gedcom.

I am currently entering the census for a village in Italy from the 1800's. I would love to be able to take the information I am entering, then create a gedcom from it.

I could then take this gedcom over to Ancestry and import it and see if I can get any hits for the immigrants to the  US.

Barring surname selection, perhaps a location selection?

I was able to work with a friend and figure out how to change a watchlist into a GEDCOM. If anyone is interested let me know or where this script and instructions can be posted.

Having a GEDCOM of my watchlist will enable me to take the data from Wikitree and upload it to Ancestry (and with that link those records at Ancestry back to WIkitree).

I don't know of all the specifics with exporting a gedcom however you can find more about Exporting a GEDCOM here  I believe you can download from a certain ancestor you will need there Wikitree ID for example yours is Martin-15906
