Hi, Stephanie. I looked at your contributions history and saw that you have been carefully inserting census details from the findmypast census transcripts. Copying and pasting from transcripts is probably the best way to get census content into a profile, but the format isn't ideal (and some details may be omitted), so I find that it's necessary to do a lot of editing.

And I also see that you've bumped into some problems with the intricacies of WikiTree formats. I think the easiest way to "learn the ropes" here is to copy from other people's profiles, so I suggest that you start looking at other profiles -- particularly their edit pages -- to see what other users have done. We all differ in our personal style, so I don't want to force any particular style on you. However, because I've worked on profiles recently that used UK census data, I'll suggest Barnes-12253 as one example showing my approach for working with census data. I suggest that you look around for other examples.

Stephanie, I assume the Census records you want to add are in FamilySearch.

There is a tutorial video made by Dodie Bartlett explaining how to Copy/Paste a record from FamilySearch into a profile.

The link to the video is in this post.

Best of luck.
