DNA Cousins Help

My grandson set this up for me and helped me with the DNA tests. He recently moved and I don't understand any of this. I'm 90 and I think I might be long gone by the time my tree is connected on here. I was wondering if someone could help me figure out how, my GedMatch matches are connected to me. I have slaves on my lines I know that and some of them were Mulatto, my Grandmother Annie Jenks or Bird was mixed with Cherokee. It's really difficult because we didn't ask our parents about that kind of stuff back then, and they didn't talk about it much. If anyone could help me I would appreciate it greatly.

Hi Geraldine,

I took a quick look at your matches on GedMatch and the closest matches to you that are also linked to WikiTree are:

1.  Becky Wells Bryant - should be about a 4th cousin

https://www.wikitree.com/treewidget/Wells-6433/5

and

2.  Jimmy Childs (managed by Cherre Stubblefield) - should be a 4th or 5th cousin

There are some closer matches on GedMatch, including several close relations, but none of them (other than your grandson) have trees linked to WikiTree.
