Can probably help but need a little more detail, anything really, approx age? marriage? Children? Even whether he was old or young when he emigrated?

Is it possible he emigrated earlier than this date? There is a record of an Alfred Tucker visiting the UK from South Africa in 1915 but he was already a resident there by this point!
believe he was born 1879 the son of William tucker and eliza (hagen) sister of lily my grandmother
Sorry, was Lily his sister or Eliza's?

I thought I had him in UK census, but theres no lily's as siblings, just Elizas, is it English census you're after or are you more interested in the south Africa angle?
lily was his sister,
he appears in 1891 census with eliza his sister, lily was born 1892 and is in 1901 census but no Alfred perhaps he emigrated before 1901
I have been looking at this for you, the records seem confusing and complex based on the info you've given us. If you want some help then can you email me with what you have please?

I can find several possible records but none the directly match your info above?

Most would indicate a cousinal relationship between Lily & Alfred or second marriages possibly

Happy to help if you want? We just need to take it out of G2G to resolve

Lizzie
