My 5x great-grandfather was Thomas Kendall, he was a missionary and translated the Máori Language in New Zealand over 200 years ago, I've been working on his descendants

Hi Campbell Braddock ,I am curious your Thomas Kendall could it be Thomas Michael Kendall who died 10 Aug 1928 at Te Mata Raglan Waikato New Zealand, if so he is my Great grand uncle

Sorry, completely different family, my Thomas Kendall died in 1823 in Australia, maybe their Ancestors are related as they are from the same part of England

Thomas Michael Kendall was my great great grandfather. Our Kendall's were from South Africa ,before Coming To NZ in 1865. I am searching for his sons photograph,Gordon Harding Kendall,Anglo-Boer war reg number 4082 . 7th NZ contingent . Gordon was my great grandfather .

For a long time it was thought in my family that we were decended from Thomas Kendall but once  I dug into his family and I read his biography ,written by Judith Binny ,I realised we were a completely different family . Thomas grandson was the Australian poet , Henry Kendall . He was also aquainted  with my four times great grandfather,haare Nepia TeMorenga ,ngapuhi and terarawa cheif . TeMorenga met him when rev Samuel Marsden was meeting with Thomas Henry  Kendall .

Thomas Henry Kendall is my great great uncle. my grandma Audrey Drury- used to be Audrey Lenis Kendall is his niece. i dont know much about this family because i am adopted into this family. Audrey Drury is my Grandmother and Mother of my mum Jocelyn kidd. Audrey also had a sister Joyce Kendall but died 3 years ago
