Hi WikiTreers,

DD Challenge D-Day Image 1Want to join us in a challenge?

Since July 1 is Canada Day and July 4 is the US Independence Day, this week's Data Doctors Challenge is centered on those two countries. Choose one and then see how much you can improve profiles of people from there.

The member who clears the most errors and suggested changes from the list gets a nifty badge and we all get a neater, cleaner, shared family tree. :-)

Here are the lists (thank you Aleš):

To earn a point, click the status button on the report by the profile you edited and follow the instructions there. [more info]

The member with the most points at 11:59pm EDT on Sunday night will get the badge and the bragging rights. But we'll all benefit.

Which country will you choose? Please post here to let us know. Or post if you have any questions about how to participate.

Thanks for helping to clean our tree!

You are going strong! Nice job!
Thanks ;) I actually got an unintentional head start by working on errors that I normally try to put some time behind every week. Not sure how much time I'll have available for the rest of the challenge. You have been plugging away each week too! Kudos to you as well! ;)

  • 638 all done
  • 639 all done
  • 640 all done

Will start on 641 now, that should slow me down.

For some reason I just saw this post!  I am a day behind.

But I will work on all of the 721 errors for Canada.

Error 721 US complete--I did these in my regular DD work and didn't know they were part of this week's challenge :-)
