How do I delete a GEDCOM that has not yet been processed?

Sorry...I was so excited to get started that I uploaded my whoe database of over 4000 people.  It has not been processed because it is to large.  I need to get rid of it so that I can correct my last name at birth...I had a typo...I had it Gunnie instead of Gunnoe.

I don't know for sure but I know you will have an option to see your gedcompare report there may or may not be an option there to delete.

I have uploaded a smaller GEDCom (with just my direct ancestors) and it has been processes.  The first one may never be processed since it has over 4000 people in it.  My problem is it won't let me correct the typo in my name at birth until that huge GEDCOM has been processed.  So if I can just delete it and it won't have to be processed, then I can correct my typo.

At first, I was going to say not to worry about it, because it'll get deleted automatically after some time -- but I see the issue you are in... it is currently tied to your current misspelled profile, so it won't let you rename your profile.

There should be a delete option available for gedcoms before they are imported. But its been so long, that I don't remember how to get there.

Its also possible that because your gedcom was so large, that it got stuck, and never got to the compare phase (which is where the delete option is, if I recall correctly).

Best option then, is to email info@wikitree.com and ask them to take care of it for you.

On the report page https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:UploadGedcom&action=report&gu_id=92385 you should see this line: "At any time before a completed import you can delete the GEDCOM and prevent further processing."
