Doggett married, second, Amy Unknown. There apparently is no proof that Amy was a Native American. They had six children:

  • Elizabeth, b. ca. 1692, m. John Marchant
  • Amy, b. ca. 1694, d. Tisbury 20 April 1771, m. Thomas Martain
  • John, b. ca. 1696, m. Sarah --
  • Temperance, b. 1698-1701, m. Samuel Huxford aged 68.
  • Joseph, b. ca. 1704, d. Edgartown April 1772 and August 1772
  • Hepzibah, b. ca. 1706, m. Enoch Norton

---Shouldn't these be his son's children?
