Who is Aline Ellison from Gerogia

Aline Ellison appears on the death certificate of Sidney Ellison in 1925...  The kicker is there are two (2) records...   one has her listed as the spouse and the other doesn't...

https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:JDNK-ZM1

https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:JDNK-ZMT

this is where I'm having the issue... I'm sure she was his wife, however I don't know where to look for records of their marriage, her birth, or children they may have had...

it appears that whomever made out the from on the first link just winged the information...   I don't know if her given name is "Aline" " Aileen" "Adeline" "Elain" "Eileen" "Ileen" "Ilene" or "Ilean" ????   There were so many errors on the form I believe the second one was created...

The bottom line is I need help with Aline "Unknown" Ellison born somewhere around 1880 in Douglas County Georgia, United States...  .

Any help will keep me from going crazy!   Thanks in advance to anyone that even attempting to crack this...

I think the link to the second death certificate is:

https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HY-DC5S-6YN?i=302&cc=1320969

The two links above seem to relate to the same (other) death certificate.
Thank you JT!

Hi Gene,

I found a death certificate for Emma (Ellison) Sims who married and divorced Garfield Sims.  Her parents were Marion Ellison and Harriet Anderson.

Also found an 1870 Census in the Homer District, Banks County, with a Marion and Harriet Ellison with four small children.  Marion is reported as 30 yrs old, so born about 1840.   This may be your Marion. (Ooops!  I see you have this already)

There is also an 1860 Census with an infant (6 mos) Marion Ellison.  Parents are Francis and Florida.  This might be a relative, just possibly a nephew of your Marion?  Might be worth a look.

Still looking for Ailene.

edit: note re 1870 Census

Thank you Cynthia....   I think this is Ailene, however the distance from Valdosta GA to Atlanta GA back in the early 1900s may have been stretching  it based on the information I have....   This is the only Ailene/Aline born in GA during that time frame that meet all the other criteria that I validate on...

I found one more bit of info on Sidney.  The 1910 Federal Census counted him on 26 Apr 1910 living at 142 Ellis St. in Atlanta, Fulton Co., with wife, Ailene.  He was 30 yrs old, she 20 yrs old, and it reports they were both married for 12 years.  They and all of their parents born in GA.  Sidney was a porter at a soda stand, and Ailene was a cook for a private family.  Both working on their own account.  Sidney had no weeks out of work in 1909, and Aileen had five.  They both could read and write.  They lived in a multi-family house and rented.  In the column, "number of farm schedule" is the number 14 for both (I do not know what this means).  Sidney served 4 year in the Army or Navy.  Neither were blind or deaf.  I found this is online at AmericanAncestors.org, but they cite FamilySearch, so you might be able to find it there, too.

I think that is Ailene, too.  I am surprised they report they were married for 12 years, and she is only 20 yrs old, but I suppose it was possible back then (with parents permission ?).

edit:  they probably were not married in 1900, if she was still living at home with her parents.  Maybe the 12 should be a 2.

On the "first" death certificate, Aline, the spouse is also listed as the informant, possibly the provider of the questionable information.

On the "second" death certificate, issued twelve days later, there is a different informant, Donie (perhaps Dovie) Carey. The second death certificate is a different form which does not include a place for the name of the spouse, but it does indicate that Sidney was married.

Perhaps, Donie/Dovie was actually a closer relative of Sidney and knew more about him that Alene?

Also, another clue: in the 1923 Atlanta directory - Sidney is living at 28 Vernon Place (his residence on the first death certificate and where Aline says she is living on the first death certificate) and Aline is living at 4201/2 .  Magnolia. There residence line wasn't filled out on the second death certificate.
