Looking for parents of James Wm Mills. Born in Missouri, Died in Indiana. Possibly lived in Illinois. I do see that some people have Andrew J. Mills as his father, but I see no documentation to prove it, and he is not listed on any census with AJ. I also see no DNA connection with those that have this listing. Any help that you can provide would be appreciated. My grandfather is a direct decendant and his GEDMatch is A692487.

Thank you so much! This makes so much sense! Looks like he travelled quite a bit across country.  I do have this GG grandfather married to a Caroline Walker  (b 1851, d1887) (m1879) and then my GG grandmother Lucy Reece. These, I believe, were from my grandfather's recollection, documentation,  and also I am DNA connected to Lucy Reece.  If anyone has a DNA connection to him, please contact me. I am trying to figure out the DNA connections and don't see any on Ancestry for his parents. Jamie
This looks like this is not my James I am looking for after all.  According to Find a grave, this James is buried in Olympia Washington. I do know that my James is buried in Posey County Indiana. His birth certificate lists no parents.   https://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=71583886

There are 33 Jackson Townships in MO. It's very difficult to read the county in the above US Missouri  Census.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jackson Township is the name of thirty-three townships in Missouri:
