What evidence for Cooley as maiden name of Richard Kimball's wife [closed]

Question

Despite narrative on profile and despite merge instructions, a recent merge proposal went in the wrong direction with only the comment "Cooley is the preferred name."

While I am a profile manager and can change her name back to Unknown, let's discuss this first. Perhaps someone has evidence other than an online family tree supporting Cooley as her maide name.

Where does this theory come from and what supports it?

Since she's not known to be Cooley, the birth date and place should probably be changed.

Do you think she's PGM? She should probably be ppp'd which I can do or Paula can. Just a question of PGM or Massachusetts?

Anderson: Great Migration: Immigrants to New England, 1634-1635, Volume IV, I-L: p. 158.  Suggests Richard Kimball's first wife Mary ___,  may have been daughter of John Cooley of Ipswich. This appears to be based on the fact that Richard sold land and his dwelling house, which was that of John Cooley deceased,  to Caleb Kimball.

Land transfer is also mentioned in GM Vol 2 C-F p. 226

It's not definitive by any means.  She should probably be Mary Unknown, possibly Cooley.
