Wright Family, St Olave's, Southwark in 1901 census - can anyone check for me?

I'm pretty sure this is the right (no pun intended!) family, but a bit puzzled about only initials for the father.  I have his name as George Arthur on his son's marriage certificate (although he was deceased by this time).

There have been a few stories in the family about this branch, so I'd like to start untangling some of them!

Thanks in advance :-)

The 1901 Census you have is certainly correct for that family unit, with the head of the family having the initials AE

It would seem that Mary Kate had two further children Elizabeth, 1901 & George c1903, in Rotherhithe.

Mary Kate married in 1906, under the name Kate Kenny. She married Alfred Thomas Law

Strangely I cannot trace a birth for young George in St. Olave Registration District, or a Wright death in that district!

Found young George's birth:

Goodness - thanks for your help Ron!

I understood Mary Kate's surname was Kenny from the family stories, but have always been lacking proof.  I wonder if she was in fact married to Mr Wright after all.  Will need some GRO certificates methinks!

The names of her children match those that my great aunt remembers and the location is where I'd expect, although I did think that the children were born in Ireland, but it seems not.

My great aunt seems to think that William was put into a children's home when he was about 10 years old, and I'm thinking that perhaps there might be some connection with the death of his father.

More work to do here certainly!  I'd not seen just initials in a census return before, so that rather puzzled me and I thought it might be an error.
