How can I transfer my ancestry family tree to this site?

There is so much information with that tree it would take forever to manually put it in.

You can download your own tree from Ancestry.  

At the top of the page, click on TREES.  You'll get a drop down menu.  Choose CREATE AND MANAGE TREES.  On the next page will be a list of your trees.  Select the one you want by clicking on MANAGE TREE next to the tree you want (in case you have more than one).  To the right is a little blue box that says EXPORT TREE.  Once you click on that, Ancestry will automatically create a gedcom you can download.

Just be aware that if you upload a gedcom to WikiTree, you may have to edit all the people you add because they may not upload exactly the way you want them to look.  Sometimes gedcoms add categories like User ID:fjoeio58547fakaoifjieo99y897300jhlah, for example, that are pretty meaningless.  Also, be careful not to create duplicate profiles.

Welcome to WikiTree, Ashleigh!  I highly recommend that you read Before importing a GEDCOM before you decide to import your data from Ancestry.  The advice on this help page is really valuable and will save you a lot of pain.  My advice would be to import a tiny GEDCom (maybe 10 people) to see if this is really something you want to do.  The lessons learned from that initial import will help you improve your next GEDCom import.
