I am trying to prove that Electra Palmer is the daughter of Roland and Harriett Palmer. Please help.

I am needidng proof that Roland Palmer and Harriett Hills are the pa rents of Electra Cornelia Palmer, born 1819.

Yes I have found an ancestry tree that notes a book as for the date she was "born" however I cannot see the book so I not sure if that good enough proof for me. I'd still say uncertain

For anyone who may know how to come across the book it appears to be

I found a rootsweb tree at http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=7skamm3&id=I5956 . It has detailed writeups for Electra and her parents, apparently sourced to the same Pete Palmer book.  Ir refers to some US and NY census records, which I was not able to verify through FamilySearch.  It also refers to a Walter Palmer Society, which could be of some help.  Good luck!

Yes I saw the same note on the census however couldn't see the census or verify its authenticity

FS has the censuses cited, so it seems odd that searching wouldn't turn the records up. I think Dolores is justified in her caution.
