I just found the Finder and it easily located 2 uncles and 6 cousins on board the ship.

I found it interesting. I have one direct ancestor on the Mayflower, no other kin That's 1.5%. Among the Wikitree Staff, I have one cousin, that's 14%. What are the odds!

Yes, agreed, great work. At this point, i have 6 blood relatives on the boat, but not descended from any of the actual passengers.

But also interesting, of a similar vein are these in the relationship finder:

You

  1. Are your parents related to each other?
  2. Are your father's parents related to each other?
  3. Are your mother's parents related to each other?

Turns out there's been some inbreeding in my family: My mother and father were 9th cousins, and his parents were 6th cousins. Fortunately my maternal grandparents weren't related (well, as of yet, still more work to do on that side),

Well I have searched the site and find no new tool just for mayflower descendants. I find the wiki relationship finder are we talking about the same tool. If not, a link to the tool would save me time searching this site.

Thanks in advance.
Still get a trust issue when clicking your posted links. Of parents related.

You wont get anyone that's not trusted to see those links until you fix the private issue

Thanks.

I agree... outstanding!

I located 3 more ancestor passengers for myself and 2 more for my wife.  This will add flavor to my son's history projects at school.
