Emma Brown 1872 his wife I'm little confused with who her father Levi Brown was married to when she was born, if her mother is Susan Hooper or if it is Carolina Coward or even a Martha Carolina Trammel, they may have been more then one Levi, Thanks

Donnie: There are several William Capes and Copes in the 1861 and 1871 Census of Canada as per following urls...... What does " Jackson " refer to? Do you have any other detail?

Know this man's from Canada, Jackson County, North Carolina married Emma Brown daughter of Levi Brown and Caroline Coward ,some believe Martha Caroline Trammell is her mother but I seem to thank that isn't right Martha Caroline Trammell married Steven Graham around 1841 all this is happening in North Carolina, now Levi Brown married Susan Hooper also , I'm just not sure that Levi Brown married Martha Caroline Trammell in the 1860 Census she is living with her father Jacob Trammell and her mother Polly had died in 1856 and Martha is listed on this 1860 Census in N.C as last name Graham, Thanks for helping

I got you on that point. There must be a reason why they call it " Canada Township ". I am wondering if the settlers were from Canada. Perhaps you may spy the family group in the files I sent you.
