How to post DNA results

My nephew, William Louis SLOANE, has taken the yDNA test. It is posted correctly on his page, but it should be on all the male SLOANEs descendants of William Sloane 1750 Pennsylvania. How do I do that?

Well Peter,

Thomas Jefferson Sloane is the brother of my great grandfather, William Sloane, and my nephew , William Louis Sloane is the 2nd great grandson of the William who is a brother of Thomas Jefferson Sloane who is the father of Larkin Thornburg Sloane who I believe is the father of Leland SLOANE.
The profile for William Louis Sloane-31 has a privacy level of 'private'. If you want his DNA test information to be displayed correctly, please change his privacy level to 'private with public biography and family tree'.
And Leland Sloane-128 does not have any male Sloane descendants attached to him. As both JT and Dennis have already answered you, DNA test information can't be displayed if the paper trail relationships aren't connected up on WikiTree.

It doesn't look like William Louis is connected to Leland Stone on WikiTree.

First step would be to make sure that William Louis Sloane's paternal line is connected on WikiTree through Leland Sloane and beyond if possible.

First, there has to be an actual father-son connection all the way up and down the tree.

Then, it takes time for the indexes to be updated to reflect the recent changes.

edit to add: and the privacy settings may prevent being able to walk the tree. Be sure to set to Public, in order to glean any benefits of DNA matching
