Where were your Elisha and Abigail? Have you created profiles for them that we can look at to help answer your question?

There doesn't appear to be, but this may be your Elisha. This is the same place he and Abigail married.

The only way to be sure if there is a connection or not is to trace him back. New England tended to keep very good records.

There doesn't appear to be a connection:

Elisha was the son of Henry and Hannah Bliss.  Henry son of Abel Jr.:  Abel Jr. son of Abel and Martha Kritchell. (p. 657-659)

Eleazer son of Samuel Jr. and Elizabeth Burt: Samuel Jr. son of Samuel and Margaret ___.  P. 659-660
