Chute Family conundrum

Question

My Father had a twin sister, Alice Josephine Chute (Chute-653) Dad was born September 24 1915 but I have found a birth date for Alice of September 23 (can't remember where).

Some records show her death as 1936 but that is INCORRECT. She had a son early in 1941, Allan Charles Mitchell (Chute-654) and he and I with other cousins grew up on the same street until we were school aged.

Allan's reported father was Allan Leahy but I don't know what my cousin's (Chute-654) registered birth surname was. He was LEGALLY adopted by his Aunt Mame (Chute-648) and her husband and was raised as Allan Charles Mitchell

I don't know when/where/how Alice Josephine Chute died--have no idea on Allan Leahy and whether or not these two were married.

I am the last remaining Chute of my generation so there is no one to ask and the Family History re Alice was always hush hush.

Would someone suggest links to records I can begin to search to establish Alice's --1/birth date 2/death date/place 3/marriage if any 4/birth of her son Allan 5/his adoption

All of these events took place in and around Toronto, York County Ontario Canada between 1940 and 1942

Married Earland Jackson Mitchell,May 22 1926,York Ontario Canada.

Her father Charles Joseph Chute,Mother Mary Osborne.

Not sure this applies too your problem.

I believe this record is for the Aunt Mame, mentioned in the original post, who adopted the child. Alice would be a younger sibling.

Mary Josephine was know as Mame and became Allan's step mother with his adoption sometime in 1941

At issue is the fact Mary Josephine Chute was born in Ontario,Canada.

And i am not J.T. whoever that is.

Find A Grave ,Charles J.Chute born Aug 14 1877,died May 16 1958,

Cemetary.Mount Hope Catholic Cemetary, Toronto,Ontario Canada.

They are Irish Catholic,but immigration must happened earlier.
